Ode to Autumn
The smell of rain envelops my lungs, encapsulates my soul. Transport me! Cinnamon rushes in, wafting. Patchouli transcends. The ancient world floods me now. Illumination alters my perception. I envision leaves changing their colors and falling to the ground, welcoming in that cool weather. In the not so distant future...time slows down. Oranges, browns and yellows. Feet hitting the pavement. Children in disguise.
Beautifully said darling!
